Ingredients to make homemade fried milk:

  1. 500 milliliters of milk
  2. 3 egg yolks
  3. 2 tablespoons of Cornstarch
  4. 4 tablespoons of Sugar
  5. 1 piece of lemon peel
  6. 1 egg
  7. 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  8. Extra virgin olive oil

How to make homemade fried milk:

  • To start preparing this delicious homemade dessert, the first thing you should do is heat 420 milliliters of milk together with the lemon peel and sugar. Let simmer until it boils for 5 minutes.
  • With the peel of a lemon will be enough.
  • Separately, mix the rest of the milk with the yolks and dilute the maceine in this. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • Once the 5 minutes of boiling the milk have passed, add the mixture with the cornstarch and, without removing the saucepan from the heat, stir the whole without stopping for 5 minutes. Check again that there are no lumps.
  • Empty this milk preparation on a tray or a flat mold and leave it to rest until it cools completely.
  • When it has cooled you will see that it has solidified slightly, so cut the milk into rectangular or square portions and pass them through the batter station. First by beaten egg and then by breadcrumbs.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan and when it is very hot, fry the battered pieces of milk until golden brown on all sides. Drain by placing the fried milk on a plate with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
