Ingredients to make Chocolate cake for 10 – 15 people:
- 4 L eggs (or 6 M eggs)
- 560g white sugar
- 240ml light olive oil
- 320ml milk
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
- 360g wheat flour
- 120g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 5 tbsp. chemical yeast or baking powder
- 1 tsp. of salt
- 200 ml of hot water
How to make Chocolate cake for 10 – 15 people:
- To start making this chocolate cake for 12 people, put the eggs in a bowl and beat them for 5 minutes. You can do it with the mixer or by hand, in that case it will take a little longer.
- After the time, add the sugar and beat for another minute.
- Then add the oil and mix until combined.
- Next, we add the milk and mix until it is integrated.
- Then, add the vanilla essence and beat until the flavor is integrated.
- When it is integrated, we add the cocoa, the flour and the chemical yeast or baking powder, sifting it all together.
- Once everything is integrated, we add the salt and mix with the mixer turned off so that the flour does not fly out and when it is more or less integrated we understand it at the lowest possible speed of your mixer.
- When we don’t see lumps in the dough, we add the hot water.
- When everything is ready, we put waxed paper, butter with flour or flour spray in the mold and add the dough.
- We put the chocolate cake for 12 people in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes.
- Fresh out of the oven let it cool for 10 minutes in the mold.
- After 10 minutes, let the cake coolon a wire rack upside down.
- When we are going to put the chocolate cake for 12 people on the plate we put it putting the part that was on the rack down.
