Baked Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Mushrooms are good in all their forms, but when they are baked with that golden touch they are even better. There are many ways to make this dish, we have mushrooms stuffed with meat or mushrooms stuffed with bacon, but today, to get away from the classic, we are going to prepare an easy and different recipe: mushrooms stuffed with prawns and bon appetite!

Ingredients to make Baked Stuffed Mushrooms:

  • 8 units of Mushrooms
  • 250 grams of Prawns
  • 200 milliliters of Cream 35%
  • 1 unit of Leek
  • 150 grams of grated cheese
  • 15 milliliters of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of white pepper

How to make Baked Stuffed Mushrooms:

1 To start with the preparation of this easy recipe, the first thing you should do is wash all the ingredients. Cut the trunks of the mushrooms and finely chop the leek.

2 Heat a little oil in a frying pan and gently fry the leek and the mushroom stems. Then also chop the prawns and when the leek is tender, add them to the sauce,

3 Now it is the turn of the cream and grated cheese. Mix well with a wooden spoon and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir for about 4 minutes.

4 Season the mushroom shells. Then fill each of them with the sofrito, as if they were a bowl and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

5 Take the tray to the oven preheated to 220º and cook for 15 minutes or so. The stuffed mushrooms should be slightly browned.

6 Serve the baked stuffed mushrooms right away, and if you like, top with some mashed potato or corn chips for garnish.
