Baked Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Recipe

Ingredients to make Baked Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 150 grams of Ham
  • 5 slices of cheese
  • 1 unit of Egg

How to make Baked Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry:

1 We start by washing our hands very well, put on the kitchen hat and get to work. Take the puff pastry and place it on parchment paper, cutting it into 4 parts vertically.

2 Take the slices of cheese and cut them in half, placing 2 halves of the slice of cheese for each rectangle of puff pastry.

Trick: You can use the cheese that you like the most

3 Once the cheese slices are placed in the puff pastry, we will place the ham on top of the cheese slices.

Tip: If you prefer, you can replace the ham with any other ingredient of your choice.

4 When we have placed all the ham, we will fold the puff pastry on both sides, so that it remains like a roll, covered on all sides. Once the curls are well covered, we take the egg and beat it and then spread it all over the roll, so we will get a golden color.

5 When we have spread the egg everywhere, we introduce it in the oven preheated to 180º for about 7-8 minutes, until we see that it takes on the golden color and has reached sufficient volume.

6 This baked ham and cheese puff pastry is perfect for snacking. If you need to prepare an appetizer table for Christmas or a special occasion, you can combine them with other dishes such as chicken vol-au-vents or puff pastry roses. TAKE ADVANTAGE!
