  • 60 grams of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 60 cubic centimeters of neutral oil (sunflower or soybean)
  • 120 cubic centimeters of milk
  • 50 grams of walnuts
  • 145 grams of flour 0000
  • 35 grams of bitter cocoa
  • 1 dessert spoon of baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

How to make Chocolate Walnut Pudding:

  • The first thing you should do before starting to prepare the pudding with nuts and chocolate is to turn on the oven to preheat it to 180 °C. Subsequently, oil and flour a 20 x 8 x 8 cm mold.
  • Next, chop the walnuts into not very small pieces and reserve.
  • Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Tip: if you don’t have bitter cocoa, you can use sweet, but in that case, reduce the amount of sugar.
  • Place the egg and sugar in a bowl and beat until pale.
  • Add the oil and the vanilla essence, beat 1 more minute.
  • Add the milk and half of the dry ingredients that you had reserved in point 3. Next, incorporate with a spatula or hand whisk, making enveloping movements. Then, add the rest of the flour and integrate in the same way.
  • Finally, add the chopped walnuts and stirgently to integrate them.
  • Pour the dough into the mold and take it to a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes. Check if the moist chocolate walnut pudding is cooked by poking it in the center with a toothpick. If it comes out dry, you can remove it from the oven. Then let it cool before unmolding.
  • You are ready to eat the delicious chocolate and nut pudding. Unmold it and voila!
