Chick cookies with fondant recipe

Ingredients to make Fondant Chick Cookies:

  • 1 piece of yellow fondant
  • 1 piece of white fondant
  • 1 piece of black fondant
  • 1 package of Maria Cookies (200 grams)
  • 1 small glass of water
  • 1 piece of orange fondant

How to make Fondant Chick Cookies:

  1. To decorate cookies with fondant we will need some basic utensils, such as pastry molding tools and some cookie cutters. Remember that you can get fondant at any pastry shop or make it at home
  2. Stretch the pieces of fondant with the help of a roller and cut the necessary figures. Two yellow circles, one lighter than the other, an orange triangle, two white and two black circles for the eyes and a pair of orange circles for the legs.
  3. The lightest circle will be the body of the chick with fondant. To make the wings, cut two half-moons from the darker colored circle. Use the same circular pasta cutter to make them.
  4. Glue the fondant to the cookie, moistening it with a little water. After gluing the wings, remove the excess fondant with the help of the same cutter, as seen in the photograph.
  5. Next, glue the eyes, the beak and the legs. To make the legs use the shell-tipped pencil, when you crush it you will have a leg shape as seen in the photo. Remember that for the eyes you can also use eye-shaped candies like those of the elephant cookies.
  6. Finally finish the details of the decorated Glue the black pupils orienting them in a fun way and make lines on the wings with the help of one of the pastry pencils.
