- We knead and leave resting for 3 hours, or we can prepare this dough the day before to leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
- Then, we knead again with our hands for a few minutes to continue stretching until we leave a very fine dough, barely two millimeters thick.
- Apart, in a pot we put the meat to fry with a couple of tablespoons of oil for about 5 minutes. Add the onion, cabbage, and shrimp, all finely chopped. Season to taste with a little salt and continue with the sauce for at least 5 more minutes.
- Let it cool down a bit and drain.
- We cut the dough into squares of no more than 12 cm. Fill and roll up, sealing the joints and ends with a little beaten egg so that the rolls do not open during cooking.
- Then fry in abundant oil until golden brown and drain with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
- Homemade spring rolls are a perfect starter for an evening of Asian flavors. You can combine them with other typical dishes of Chinese food such as three delights rice or the famous Chinese sweet and sour chicken.
