Ingredients to make Chocolate Cake in Blender:

  • 2 cups of wheat flour (280 grams)
  • 2 cups of sugar (400 grams)
  • 1 cup of pure chocolate/cocoa powder (better defatted)
  • 1 tablespoon Royal yeast or baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup of lukewarm milk
  • For the filling (optional):
  • 1 bottle of milk cream or cream for desserts

How to make Chocolate Cake in blender:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and grease and flour a mold with butter and flour. This is the first thing to do since the chocolate cake in a blender is very easy and quick to make and it is preferable that the oven is heating up and we have the mold ready.
  2. Tip: I have used a round mold of 22 cm in diameter.
  3. We take the blender and put the eggs, the melted butter, the sugar, the milk so that everything dissolves a bit and then we add the cocoa powder. We blended a little until the mixture is homogeneous to be able to continue with the preparation.
  4. Then add the flour and beat until fully integrated. From time to time we are cleaning the edges so that the flour that remains stuck to them comes off and mixes well with all the mass of the chocolate sponge cake in the blender.
  5. At this moment and not before we add the yeast and blend the mixture a little more, just so that it is distributed well on all sides.
  6. Pour the dough for the chocolate cake in a blender into the mold that we have prepared and put in the oven at 180ºC for approximately 50 minutes.
  7. Trick: Do the stick or toothpick test by poking in the center and if it comes out dry, the cake is ready.
  8. Once the chocolate cake is in the blender, let it rest with the oven ajar for about 10 more minutes inside and then remove it, unmold it and let it cool on a wire rack.
  9. While the cake cools, we mount the milk cream with some electric rods if possible. This step is optional, since you can perfectly leave the chocolate cake in the blender without filling, but I prefer to do it.
  10. We open the easy chocolate cake in half so that we have 2 parts that are as symmetrical as possible.
  11. Trick: If the top has also risen a bit, we can cut a first layer so that we have a completely plate.
  12. Fill the chocolate cake in a blender with the whipped cream and sprinkle a little icing sugar on top if you want to decorate it.
