Ingredients to make vegan Torrijas in the oven:

  1. 1 loaf of hard whole wheat bread
  2. ¼ cup rolled oats
  3. 1 cup chick pea flour
  4. ½ cup soy milk or water
  5. 5 tablespoons of brown sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  7. 1 dash of vanilla essence

How to make vegan Torrijas in the oven:

  • Cut the loaf of whole wheat bread into thick slices.
