How to make Andalusian wine rolls:
- Here we have the necessary ingredients for these Andalusian wine donuts.
- Trick: From the lemon we will take advantage of both the skin and the juice.
- First of all we mix the oil, the wine, the juice, the lemon zest and the three tablespoons of sugar.
- Trick: Preheat the oven now to 175 ºC so that when we go to bake the wine donuts it is already hot.
- Next, we pour the mixture into a large bowl and add the flour together with the yeast.
- We need it well so that there is a uniform mass for the wine donuts.
- Spread baking paper on the tray in which you will bake the wine donut recipe. Take a ball of pasta, place it on the tray, flatten it a little and then with a finger form the central hole, moving it in circles to enlarge it. Repeat the procedure to form each of the Andalusian Christmas donuts.
- We’ll have just over a dozen large wine donuts left
- We put the tray in the oven, previously heated, and bake the wine donuts for 20 minutes at 175 ºC.
- When you take them out of the oven, place them on a plate and sprinkle them with regular sugar or icing sugar and cinnamon. Serve the Andalusian roscoe de vino as a snack with tea, coffee or a glass of sweet wine.
