Ingredients to make Crab Fritters with Prawns:
- 2 egg whites
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 grams of prawns
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 100 ml of oil
- 1 can of crab
- 1 tablespoon of nouc mam
- 50 grams of cornmeal
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 150 ml of water
- 75 grams of bacon
- 125 grams of flour
How to make Crab Fritters with Prawns:
- Drain the crab meat and remove any cartilage.
- Put it in a bowl with the peeled prawns, the skinless bacon and cut into small pieces.
- Beat until you get a fine mincemeat.
- Then add the sugar, the pepper and the “nouc mam”. Mix well.
- Put the flour, cornmeal and yeast in a large salad bowl, mix well, form a well and add the water, little by little, to obtain a thick dough.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and then carefully fold them into the pasta.
- Add the hash to the pasta, mix well.
- Form balls with a large spoon or cut into triangles and introduce them into the hot oil, fry until they are very golden on the outside.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve.
