Ingredients to make “lame lick” clams:
- for 4 people
- 2 kg. of clams
- 1 onion
- 1 level tablespoon of sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- Oil
- Salt
How to make lick lick clams:
- The clams are cleaned by leaving them in salted water for several hours, moving them from time to time.
- Put the clams in a saucepan over high heat without adding water.
- When the water they release begins to boil, add the chopped parsley.
- In a frying pan with a little oil (approximately 3 tablespoons) fry the finely chopped onion.
- When it is transparent, add the paprika. Pour the contents of the pan into the casserole where the clams are.
- Add the tablespoon of breadcrumbs and bring to a boil before serving.
- As you will see, one has wine and the other does not, and one has paprika and the other does not.
- I personally put a teaspoon of paprika and a little wine.
