- 5 minced garlic cloves
- 2 kilos of clams
- 1 large big onion
- 2 coconuts its milk
- 1 stock cube
- 1 large bell pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 large tomato
How to make Clams in Coconut Sauce:
- Clams can be purchased in the shell.
- Wash them well and put them to cook until they open.
- Then remove them from the shell and separate the water later to use it in cooking.
- Once this is done, chop the tomato, onion, pepper and garlic very small, and fry in the oil until cooked.
- Then add the clams and a little of the broth from the cooking of the clams.
- And let it cook for about 15 minutes or until the broth dries up.
- When this happens, add the substance broth and coconut milk.
- At this point you can add salt if necessary.
- Let it cook and stir constantly to prevent it from burning, and do not cover the pot, so that the milk does not curdle.
- When the milk is slightly consumed and the cooking is creamy, turn off the heat.
