Ingredients to make Chickpeas with veal legs:
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 pinch of saffron
- 1 onion
- 500 grams of chickpeas
- 3 tablespoons of vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 calf, hind legs
- 100 grams of wheat
How to make Chickpeas with Veal Legs:
- Clean the legs well, chop them up and put them in the pressure cooker, add the chickpeas and wheat (these two ingredients are left to soak separately the night before).
- Chop the onion, the garlic cloves, add the saffron, the ground black pepper, the salt and the water, until the ingredients are covered (this dish does not contain oil).
- Close the pot and cook for three quarters of an hour.
- Once the pot is open, add two tablespoons of vinegar and let it cook again.
