Ingredients to make Christmas Baked Knuckle:
- 250 grams of pork knuckle
- 2 units of potatoes
- 1 unit of purple onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 unit of Orange
- 2 grams of Laurel and thyme
- 5 grams of Coriander
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make Christmas baked knuckle:
- Prepare all the ingredients for the preparation of the baked pork knuckle.
- Peel and cut the potatoes into thick strips, cut the onion into feathers and chop the garlic finely. Then, arrange these ingredients in a refractory with salt and pepper.
- Add the seasoned knuckle, bay leaf, thyme, orange juice and cilantro. Then, cover the container with aluminum foil and bake the meat for 30 minutes, with the oven preheated to 200ºC.
- After this time, remove the aluminum foil and bake the knuckle again for 15 more minutes until golden brown.
- Serve the Christmas knuckle with the garnish of potatoes and onion. This is a much cheaper option and just as delicious for all those people who can make the traditional stuffed turkey.
