Ingredients to make battered mussels:

  • mussels
  • White wine
  • 1 cup flour
  • Milk
  • Olive oil
  • Yeast
  • Salt

 How to make battered mussels:

  1. Cook the mussels in cold water (a glass), a glass of white wine and a little salt.
  2. Separate the mussel and shell and reserve on a plate.
  3. Prepare a dough with 125 gr. of flour, 1 deciliter of cold milk, 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 1/2 tablespoons of white wine.
  4. Mix everything by adding a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of yeast.
  5. The mussels are coated in this paste and fried in very hot oil.
  6. They are served hot.
