Ingredients to make battered mussels:
- mussels
- White wine
- 1 cup flour
- Milk
- Olive oil
- Yeast
- Salt
How to make battered mussels:
- Cook the mussels in cold water (a glass), a glass of white wine and a little salt.
- Separate the mussel and shell and reserve on a plate.
- Prepare a dough with 125 gr. of flour, 1 deciliter of cold milk, 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 1/2 tablespoons of white wine.
- Mix everything by adding a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of yeast.
- The mussels are coated in this paste and fried in very hot oil.
- They are served hot.
