Rice with chicken and spices recipe

Ingredients to make Rice with Chicken and Spices:

  • 4 cups of rice (prepared separately)
  • 6 kilos of chicken, cut into 8 pieces
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped in brunoised
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 250 grams of peas or peas
  • 1 carrot chopped into
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 8 saffron strands or 2 panda peppers
  • 5 ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 ml of water
  • 300 ccs of dry white wine
  • 1 pinch of chili pepper or chili to taste

How to make Rice with Chicken and Spices:

  1. Put a large pot on the fire with the oil, when it is hot, fry the chicken pieces, previously seasoned and floured, until golden brown
  2. Go removing the dams as they go golden.
  3. In the oil that remains (add more if necessary), fry the onion trying to detach those that have adhered to the chicken flour.
  4. Add the garlic, fry for a couple of minutes and add the other ingredients, mix, put the chicken pieces on top and cover.
  5. Let cook about 20 minutes.
  6. While preparing the steamed rice.
  7. Place a medium thick-bottomed pot on the fire, put all the ingredients in it.
  8. Mix so that the salt dissolves, and add the rice.
  9. Cover the pot and as soon as it boils, lower the heat to a minimum.
  10. Let cook 20 minutes.
  11. Check that it is cooked and stir it with a spoon trying to loosen the grains.
  12. Remove the chicken from cooking (turn off the heat) empty the cooked rice and stir with a large spoon, trying to make it well mixed.
