Pumpkin and carrot puree recipe

In this recipe we bring two vegetables that are very beneficial for the body and with which we are going to make a creamy puree. We are talking about pumpkin and carrot, two vegetables with diuretic and antioxidant properties. Keep reading and prepare this delicious pumpkin and carrot puree, to which we will also give a creamy touch in order to highlight the flavors of the recipe.

Ingredients to make Pumpkin and Carrot Puree:

  • 300 grams of Pumpkin
  • 2 units of Carrot
  • 1 unit of onion
  • 1 dessert spoon of tomato paste
  • 80 milliliters of Cream of milk
  • 40 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Pumpkin and Carrot Puree:

  1. The first step is to get all the ingredients ready to cook the healthy puree.
  2. Peel the vegetables and cut into medium squares, take them to a pot with enough water to cover them completely and we can cook them.
  3. Once the vegetables are cooked and they are soft enough to be crushed, we make them puree, remove them to a bowl and let it cool.
  4. Add salt, pepper, milk cream and the tomato paste processes these ingredients to make the puree.
  5. The important thing is that all the ingredients of our healthy puree are integrated.
  6. If you want you can change the milk cream for coconut milk.
  7. Serve the healthy pumpkin and carrot puree by previously heating it in a saucepan over medium heat; sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top to contrast with the creamy texture of the puree.
