Rice Recipe with Bell Onion and Tomato

  • Tomatoes

  • red bell pepper

How to make Rice with Bell Onion and Tomato:

  1. Place a tablespoon of oil and a little onion chopped into small squares in a pot. It is not necessary to put a whole onion.
  2. This is to taste, let the onion brown slightly and add the bell pepper chopped into squares as well, to taste. For the latter, small square pieces of tomato are cut and added over low heat.
  3. Once the onion is well browned, careful that it does not burn, and that the bell pepper is barely golden, in the same pot add the rice.
  4. Only the rice without the water and stir for about two minutes over very low heat until the rice more or less takes on a soft pink color.
  5. In a separate container, add water (double the amount of rice), salt to taste and a teaspoon of oil, pour the contents into the pot and cook the rice.
  6. The good thing about this recipe is that the ingredients are available to anyone, it makes the rice tastier, it is very fast and it is not necessary to dirty more than one pot.
