Ingredients to make Russian Beans:
- 1 bag of beans
- Salt to taste
- 500 grams of butter
- 1/2 cup Minute Verde chopped onion
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- freshly ground black pepper
How to make Russian Beans:
1.Pour the green beans, not thawed, into boiling salted water and cook uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes until soft, being careful not to fall apart.
2.Drain them and set them aside.
3.Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed pan over moderate heat, add the onion and bell pepper cut into strips and cook until tender but not brown.
4.Add the basil, cook two minutes stirring often, then add the beans, mix well, lower the heat and continue cooking two more minutes.
5.Beat the cream with salt and pepper and add it to the vegetables stirring gently until it boils.
6.Rectify the seasoning and serve.
