Ingredients to make Rice with chickpeas and chorizo:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup of chopped onion
- 1 tsp. of garlic
- 1 tsp. curry
- 200 grams of chopped precooked chorizo
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1-1/2 cup rice
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tbsp. chopped jalapeño pepper
- 1 can chickpeas 780 grams
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup of hot water
- 120 g ham in strips or Moraxella

How to make Rice with Chickpeas and Chorizo:
1.In a medium rectangular Pyrex put the olive oil, onion, garlic and curry, cook for 3 minutes.
2.Add chorizo and celery, cook for 2 more minutes, add rice, oregano, salt, pepper, jalapeño pepper, chickpeas and chicken broth and water.
3.Cover with self-adhesive plastic, pierce with a fork and cook for 25 minutes, remove and then add ham and return to the microwave for 5 more minutes.
4.Rest 10 minutes.
