  • 125 grams of pyre corn

How to make brown sugar popcorn balls:

  1. To make these sweet popcorn, the first thing we will do is melt the panela. To do this, place a pot with some water to heat and pour the panela into pieces. Cook over very low heat and see moving from time to time.
  2. The idea is to make a liquid caramel but with panela or paper instead of sugar.
  3. Pyra corn is the type of corn with which popcorn or popcorn is made. To make them, heat the oil in a deep saucepan along with the corn kernels.
  4. Cook over low heat covered until the grains burst.
  5. When you have both preparations ready, add the panela honey little by little in the pots with the homemade popcorn. Go stirring until all the popcorn is impregnated with the caramel.
  6. Let it rest for an hour or so so that the paper honeydew cools down and you can now enjoy the popcorn balls with panela.
