Potato Gratin Recipe

In today’s recipe we bring an ideal accompaniment to any dish, it is potatoes or potatoes gratin. A simple preparation but with the special touch of some spices, milk and heavy cream. The gratin potatoes with cheese is also a dish that the little ones at home will adore, so don’t waste any more time and get to work.

Ingredients to make Potato Gratin:

  • 8 units of potatoes or medium potatoes.
  • 200 milliliters of Cream of milk (1 cup)
  • 1 cup of Milk (240 milliliters)
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder
  • 180 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch of Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Potato Gratin:

  1. The first step to make our potato gratin recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices as shown in the photograph. Then, take them to a pot with enough water and a pinch of salt. Bring to medium heat and cook the potatoes until soft
  3. Once the potatoes are soft, remove them from the water and drain them very well. Place them in a refractory as shown in the photograph.
  4. Add a little salt, black pepper, and nutmeg and garlic powder evenly distributed on all the baked potatoes.
  5. Mix the milk and milk cream and add on top of our baked potatoes.
  6. Finally add the Parmesan cheese on top and take it to the oven at 180º C. until you see that the cheese is browned evenly.
  7. Serve the potato gratin
