Sometimes you get tired of always eating the same thing. What if meatballs in sauce, what if Russian steaks, what if meat with potatoes… As we know that this is a reality in many houses, we offer you a simple solution to make and that the whole family will surely like, since the ingredients are top quality but very common at home. This is an easy meat and potato pie.

Unlike the traditional fat-laden meatloaf with bacon, we have chosen to make a very light version in terms of fat: the mashed potato is the protagonist, and as a differential element we have added a bit of Serrano ham. Pure delight in the mouth. We hope you like this incredible baked potato and meat pie.

Ingredients to make Potato Pie and Minced Meat:

  • 300 grams of minced meat
  • 3 potatoes
  • 100 milliliters of olive oil
  • 1 handful of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of Oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of barbecue seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams of grated cheese to taste
  • 1 package of Serrano ham in slices

How to make Potato and Mince Pie:

  1. We ready the ingredients of the potato and meatloaf to be sure that none are missing.
  2. Cook the potatoes with a pinch of salt
  3. With the help of a mash mill, once the potato is well cooked, mash it by adding little by little salt and oil.
  4. We let it rest for about five minutes in the fridge while we prepare the meat to continue with the recipe for the light potato pie.
  5. For the meat, we add the spices: oregano, barbecue seasoning, ground garlic, black pepper and salt. We mix well.
  6. Add only the egg yolk and mix again. We are going to start assembling the low-calorie meat and potato pie.
  7. We spread the mashed potato on aluminum foil and a layer of transparent film. On it, we place the slices of ham.
  8. Finally, we spread the meat over the ham.
  9. We roll up with the help of the transparent film and then we remove it. We turn on the oven to 180 degrees, and sprinkle the outside of the roll of meatloaf and grated cheese potato
  10. We let it cook for an hour at 180 degrees with heat up and down. Ready to enjoy! As you can see, this potato and minced meat pie is very easy to make, fast and delicious.
