  • 200 grams of cheese
  • 3 pieces of Egg
  • 350 grams of ground bread
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of Butter
  • 200 grams of flour

How to make Potato and Cheese Balls:

  1. The first step to prepare our potato and cheese balls will be to heat water in a saucepan.
  2. Meanwhile wash and peel the potatoes, when the water boils add the potatoes, a tablespoon of butter, and a pinch of salt. Boil the potatoes until soft.
  3. Mash the potatoes with a fork to form a puree. To make it juicier you can add one of the eggs. Add the remaining butter, season with salt and pepper to taste, mix.
  4. Next, use your hands to form balls with the potato with grated cheese inside. You can help yourself with some spoons.
  5. Flour the potato balls; pass them through the egg and through the ground bread.
  6. Pass the potato balls through the egg and breadcrumbs again. Repeat this process until all portions are finished.
  7. Chill the potato balls in the fridge for twenty minutes. Once this time has elapsed, fry them in hot oil until they are lightly golden. Drain excess oil with absorbent paper and reserve.
  8. Serve the cheesy potato balls while they are hot.
