  • 100 grams of Parmesan cheese

How to make Milanese Rice:

  1. Our first step to make the Milanese rice recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. First we are going to make the base sauce of the recipe. To do this, take a frying pan over medium heat with a little sunflower oil, add the onion, tomato and pepper in very fine squares. Add salt, black pepper and a little bit of finely chopped garlic.
  3. Once the sauce begins to take on color, add the Serrano ham in very thin strips and fry well until it is integrated into the base sauce.
  4. Add the white cooking wine and leave on the heat until all the alcohol in the wine has evaporated.
  5. Add the cooked white rice and lower the heat to a simmer so that our recipe is preserved for approximately ten minutes. You can consult the white rice recipe if you have questions about its preparation.
  6. Trick: You can also add peas or carrot
  7. Turn off the heat and add half of the Parmesan cheese and finely chopped parsley.
  8. Serve our Milanese rice recipe by adding a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese on top of each plate and a little fresh parsley on top.
