Ingredients to make Fried Rice (personal recipe):
- 1 lb. of rice
- 1 pound of ham cut into strips
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 pound of beef
- 1 pound shrimp (optional)
- 1 pound Chinese roots
- 1 pound fresh green peas
- 1 pound fresh carrots (not from jar)
- Soy sauce
- chives
- 4 eggs
How to make Fried Rice (personal recipe):
- Prepare the rice as usual but do not add salt, let it cool. It should be loose
- Season the chicken (with little salt) and fry it just like the beef, then cut the chicken into squares and the meat into strips. The Chinese roots are boiled, strained.
- The diced carrots and peas are drained after cooking. If you are going to use shrimp, cook it separately.
- When we have all the ingredients ready and the rice is very loose and cold, we heat a pan (that does not stick) with a little oil.
- We begin to fry the rice and little by little we are adding the meat, the ham, the shrimp and the chives at the same time.
- We add the soy sauce to squirts always frying and stirring all the ingredients.
- Leaving the peas, carrots and roots for last. An omelet is prepared with the eggs (without salt) and cut into small pieces that are added at the end.
- Do not stop stirring at any time so that the rice is well fried.
- You can add all kinds of meat or just one to your liking.
