In this recipe we are going to prepare some white beans with ground beef and chorizo, ideal to consume on cold days and surprise your whole family with a homemade stew. Keep reading and discover how to cook beans with meat to combat low temperatures.
Ingredients to make white beans with meat and chorizo:
- 300 grams of beans or white beans
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 unit of red pepper
- 80 grams of Tomato
- 60 grams of long onion
- 1 unit of white onion
- 120 grams of ground beef
- 4 units of Chorizo
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 4 units of Potatoes
- 1 handful of thyme
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 pinch of garlic paste
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
How to make white beans with meat and chorizo:
1.The first step to make the white beans recipe is to get the ingredients ready.
2.Remember that the first thing you should do is soak the beans in water the night before to leave them soaking for 24 hours. Once the time has passed and they are hydrated, take them to a pressure cooker and cook them until they are soft.
3.Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium squares. Take the potatoes to a deep pot with enough water and cook them until they are soft. Remove the pot from the heat and reserve.
4.Take a skillet over medium heat and once it is hot add a tablespoon of sunflower oil, add the diced tomato and the finely chopped onions.
5.Add salt, black pepper and garlic paste to taste. Sauté for a few minutes.
6.Add the red pepper also finely chopped and integrate it with the base sauce of our recipe for white beans.
7.Add the ground meat (you can use the one you prefer, beef or pork). Mix very well with the rest of the ingredients.
8.Add the sliced chorizo and mix well with the rest of the ingredients that we have in the pan to be able to continue with the white bean stew.
9.Add the cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika to give the beans a hint of flavor.
10.Mix the soffit base from the previous step with the chicken broth and the previously cooked white beans. Add bay leaf and thyme to taste. Let keep over medium heat for approximately 15 minutes, or until all the ingredients are integrated. Add the cooked potatoes at the end of cooking.
