Ingredients to make Almond Rice:

  • 112 gr almonds
  • 250 gr long grain rice
  • 500 ml almond broth
  • 75 gr long onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 30ml sunflower oil
  • Salt

How to make Almond Rice:

  1. Ready all the ingredients.
  2. Wash the almonds, put them in boiling water, leave them until the water boils again; Reserve the water to cook the rice. Peel the almonds and arrange them on a tray. Bake them in the oven at 180°C for 5 minutes. They should be crispy and lightly browned.
  3. Cut the almonds into thin slices and reserve.
  4. For the rice, sauté the garlic and onion for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the rice and mix for 3 minutes.
  6. Add the almond broth, salt to taste and let reduce at that time, cover the rice, lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes.
  7. Once the rice is cooked, mix with almonds and serve.
