Recipe for refried beans with chorizo

In this recipe we are going to make some refried black beans with chorizo, a typical Mexican dish with a whole range of flavors and textures that will not leave you indifferent. We are going to see the ingredients and the step by step that we detail you to prepare this succulent dish.

Ingredients to make Refried Beans with Chorizo:

  • 300 grams of cooked black beans
  • 4 units of Chorizo
  • 80 grams of Bacon
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 100 grams of long onion or green onion
  • 1 unit of white onion
  • 50 grams of sour cream
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Chorizo ​​Refried Beans:

1.The first step in making the refried beans recipe is to pre-list the ingredients. Above all, remember to save the water where you cooked the beans.

2.Take the cooked beans to the processor with the chopped white onion.

3.Add a little of the water from the cooking of the beans that you reserved.

4.Process the black beans until obtaining a puree as seen in the photograph.

5.Take a pot over medium heat with a little sunflower oil, add the bacon in thin strips and fry.

6.Add the chorizo ​​in small squares as shown in the image and sauté with the rest of the ingredients.

7.Add the finely chopped long onion and sauté with the rest of the ingredients.

8.Once the ingredients from the previous step have been sautéed, add the bean puree and the rest of the water where we cooked the black beans. Add salt, black pepper and garlic paste to taste. Let it simmer for 15 minutes and add the finely chopped coriander.

9.Turn off the heat once you notice that the refried beans have taken on a thick consistency and add the sour cream to give a creamy touch to the preparation.

10.Serve the refried beans with chorizo ​​with a touch of sour cream and finely chopped cilantro. You can consume this dish as a main dish or you can use it to fill burritos and tacos. Enjoy!
