  • 3 liters of water
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 pinch of salt to taste

How to make Pot Beans:

1.Preparing this recipe for beans from the pot is very simple, so let’s go there. First you must rinse the beans very well with a stream of water; to reduce the cooking time of the beans we recommend you soak them overnight or at least 1 hour. You can skip this step, just be aware that it might take a little longer to cook. We point out that both types of beans; canned beans or natural beans are suitable for this homemade recipe.

2.Wondering how to cook beans? Well, once soaked, proceed to transfer them to the pot where you will cook them, remove the water from the beans and pour clean water. We point out that you can use a pressure cooker, crock pot, or regular pot.

3.Add the piece of onion, the garlic cloves, and the branch of episode and a pinch of salt, cover and let cook. If you use a pressure cooker as soon as it starts to release steam, you should count 30 minutes, and if you use a normal pot, cook for about 1 hour or until they are soft.

4.After the cooking time, remove the onion, the garlic cloves and the episode leaves, check the flavor and if you think it is necessary, add a little more salt. Let it boil for only about 5 more minutes and they will be ready. Serve the beans, you can enjoy them alone in their own broth or serve them as a side dish to a dish. Let’s eat!
