Ingredients to make pizza dough with self-rising flour:

  1. 250 grams of leavening flour
  2. 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  3. 1 dessert spoon of salt
  4. 180 cubic centimeters of water
  5. 1 cup tomato sauce
  6. 200 grams of mozzarella cheese

How to make self-rising pizza dough:

  • Mix the self-rising flour with the salt. Make a small hole in the center and pour the oil and water Integrate these ingredients to form soft dough that sticks a little and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Trick: any dough needs to rest, even one that is prepared with self-rising flour.
  • Pour a little oil into a nonstick skillet. Place the dough inside and spread it out with your hands, preferably greased with oil. The batter should cover the entire bottom of the pan.
  • Once the dough is stretched, cook it over medium heat. You can also bake pizza dough with self-rising flour. In this case, you should roll it out with a rolling pin, place it on a tray lined with parchment paper, and bake it at 180ºC for 10-15 minutes, since you will finish cooking it later.
  • About 5-10 minutes later, you will notice that the dough is starting to crisp up. At this point, flip it over and add the tomato sauce to taste. If you have decided to cook it in the oven, remove it and fill it as you like to finish cooking it.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese and all the ingredients you like. As we say, you can continue cooking the pizza with self-rising flour in the pan or in the oven, as you like!
  • When the cheese has melted, you can serve your pizza and enjoy it. As you can see, this pizza dough with self-rising flour without added yeast is fluffy and crunchy at the same time.
