Ingredients to make Sausage Lasagna:

  1. 16 pieces of turkey sausage
  2. 4 sheets of pasta for lasagna
  3. 1 piece of white onion
  4. 150 grams of string cheese
  5. 300 milliliters of whole milk
  6. 2 tablespoons of Butter
  7. 1 tablespoon of corn starch
  8. 1 pinch of salt
  9. 1 pinch of Pepper
  10. 1 pinch of Nutmeg
  11. 5 pieces of red tomato

How to make Sausage Lasagna:

  • You can see the ingredients that we will needto prepare this delicious sausage lasagna, do not miss any detail.
  • We are going to start the homemade lasagna recipe by preparing the béchamel sauce. To do this, place the butter in a hot saucepan, and once melted, add the cornstarch without stopping to mix at any time.
  • Once the butter and cornstarch are well integrated, add the milk and season with a pinch of salt, pepper and nutmeg. We integrate again, and when everything is ready and without lumps, we remove from the heat and reserve a moment.
  • On the other hand, to continue making the sausage lasagna, fry the red tomatoes cut in half, until they acquire a smooth texture.
  • Once ready, we take them to the blender, add half a glass of water and blend until obtaining a homogeneous tomato sauce, which we reserve for a moment.
  • Now, in a frying pan with a little hot oil, add the finely chopped onion together with the also finely chopped pepper, add a pinch of salt and pepper and let them fry. Once the onion looks transparent, add the thinly sliced ​​sausage  and let it cook together for a few more minutes.
  • Once the sausage is fried, we pour over it the tomato sauce that we prepared a moment ago and let everything season perfectly. When the preparation comes to a boil, remove from the heat and reserve a moment to continue preparing the homemade sausage lasagna.
  • Now we take one of the pasta sheets, on it we add a little sausage stew and finish with a little string cheese. Immediately afterwards, we add one more sheet of pasta and repeat this step depending on the levels that we want our sausage lasagna to
  • Tip:To cook the pasta, I recommend that you do it as indicated on the package, since some are pre-cooked and, therefore, the time and method of cooking vary.
  • We finish the levels of our homemade lasagna with a last sheet of pasta on which we pour the béchamel sauce and a little string cheese, as shown in the image. Once ready, we bake the sausage lasagna at 180 °C for 7 minutes.
  • Once the baking time has elapsed, we remove it from the oven and serve our rich sausage lasagna immediately to enjoy it hot. As you can see, this is a very easy recipe, perfect for surprising our guests and, above all, ideal for children, who will quickly add this homemade lasagna to their list of favorite dishes.
