White Beans with Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients to make white beans with mushrooms:

  • 400 grams of white beans
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 leek
  • Half an onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 200 grams of fresh mushrooms
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How to make White Beans with Mushrooms:

1.We put the beans to soak the night before in cold water.

2.The next day, in a saucepan, cook the beans, the carrot, peeled but whole, the leek, cleaned and cut into two pieces, and the half onion, peeled into large pieces.

3.When the beans are cooked, separate the carrot, leek and onion, pass them through the blender and add them back to the beans.

4.On the other hand, we clean the mushrooms and cut them into small squares.

5.Finely chop the garlic and fry, before they take color add the mushrooms and fry.

6.Pour the sautéed mushrooms over the beans and cook the whole thing for about 10 minutes over low heat.

7.Season with salt and serve hot once the stew has rested for about 10 minutes with the lid of the pan on so that it does not cool.
