Vegetarian seafood pasta recipe

A simple and practical recipe that brings to the table all the authentic flavor of Italian cuisine and that will make you travel across the sea. To make the vegetarian seafood pasta I will use paccheri, which is a type of pasta that is also usually filled, but any other type can be used.

Ingredients to make Vegetarian Seafood Pasta:

  • 180 grams of Pasta
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of capers
  • ½ lemon unit (skin)
  • 1 splash of lemon juice
  • 1 unit of young Fennel (Stem and leaves)
  • 1 pinch of Saffron
  • 10 grams of wake seaweed
  • 10 grams of Sea Spaghetti
  • 3 slices of sliced ​​bread

How to make Vegetarian Seafood Pasta:

  1. The first step to prepare this vegetarian pasta dish is to prepare the ingredients. Keep in mind that in total we will need 20 grams of seaweed that you can choose to taste.
  2. Put water to boilin a saucepan together with a pinch of salt, to cook the pasta in the traditional way.
  3. Meanwhile, to prepare the seafood sauce, add a glass of oilin a wide and deep pot.
  4. Add the capers, previously washed and drained, as well as the lemon peel. The latter must be cut into thin strips.
  5. Also add a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce along with a handful of fennel, leaves and tender stems, finely chopped.
  6. Sauté the saucefor a minute and add a ladle of hot water, along with the saffron and the seaweed. Cook for a minute, stir everything well and turn off.
  7. Separately, cut the bread into cubesand fry with a couple of tablespoons of oil until well toasted. Booking. If you don’t have sliced ​​bread you can use any other bread you have at home or buy ready-made croutons.
  8. Drain the pasta when it lacks a minute and reserve the cooking water. Add the pasta to the panwith the sauce along with a ladle of its water and stir over medium heat. Cook until the pasta is on point.
  9. Serve the vegetarian seafood pastaand decorate the plates with some fried bread, pepper and lemon zest.
