Ingredients to make Stewed Mackerel:

  • Mackerel cut into pieces of about 3 cm.
  • Potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • Oil
  • Salt

How to make Stewed Mackerel:

  1. Cut the mackerel, add a few sands of salt.
  2. Chop the onion and roast it in the oil. Then add the tomato and let them cook over low heat.
  3. Add the sweet paprika and put the sliced ​​potatoes and cover them with water. Let everything cook for 5 minutes over low heat. VERY IMPORTANT: never stir the stew , just move the pan.
  4. After the 5 minutes, put the mackerel on top. Try the sauce; if it is sour, add a pinch of sugar. Let it cook over low heat.
  5. It will be ready when the potatoes can be pierced well with a fork. Enjoy the stewed mackerel.
