Sardine meatballs recipe

Ingredients to make Sardine Meatballs:

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 25 grams of cooked rice
  • 2 sprigs of green coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 kilo of sardines

How to make Sardine Meatballs:

  1. The sardines are cleaned, removing their heads, guts and bones and all the bones, including the central one.
  2. Once the sardines are cleaned, they are ground and mixed with the rice.
  3. Make small balls with this paste and place them in a clay pot.
  4. Add the teaspoon of paprika, cumin, chopped garlic and chopped green cilantro.
  5. Add the oil and a little salt and put on medium heat.
  6. Halfway through cooking, add two or three tablespoons of fried tomato.
  7. Cooking is finished, leaving the sauce reduced to its juice.
