  • 150 grams of onion
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 dessert spoons of sugar
  • 300 milliliters of oil
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Fried Chickpeas with Onions:

  1. Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. Soak the chickpeas overnight. After this time, cook the chickpeas in water over low heat for 2 hours until they are soft.
  3. In a pan with oil, sauté the onion cut into feathers over low heat until soft.
  4. Add the sugar and cook for 5 more minutes, season to taste.
  5. Drain the chickpeas very well and fry them in abundant oil at medium temperature for 5 minutes. Then, roast the chickpeas on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
