Recipe of Sardines in the casserole in the oven

Ingredients to make Sardines in the casserole in the oven:

  • A kilo of sardines.
  • Two onions.
  • Three cloves of garlic.
  • A tablespoon of sweet paprika.
  • 3 tablespoons of grated bread.
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • I jumped.

How to make Sardines in the casserole in the oven:

  1. We clean the sardines, removing their guts, head and spine.
  2. Peel and chop the onions, parsley and garlic cloves to form a paste.
  3. In a mortar, mix the onion, parsley, garlic, breadcrumbs, salt and paprika to make a paste.
  4. In a low casserole (better if it is a clay casserole) place a layer of sardines, spread half of the paste from the mortar on top and spray with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and repeat the operation until finishing with a layer of the majado on to the last layer of sardines.
  5. We put the casserole in the oven at 200ºC and let it cook for thirty minutes.
  6. We serve at the table using the same casserole where we have cooked the sardines.
