The macaroni with white sauce that we share below are very easy to prepare and ideal to serve when we don’t know what to cook for our children. So take note of the ingredients, follow the step by step and discover how to make baked macaroni and cheese gratin.

Ingredients for Baked Macaroni and Cheese Gratin:

  1. 300 grams of macaroni
  2. 60 grams of Parmesan cheese
  3. 40 grams of double cream cheese
  4. 600 milliliters of Milk (2½ cups)
  5. 40 grams of Butter
  6. 40 grams of flour
  7. 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

How to make Gratin Baked Macaroni and Cheese:

  • Prepare all the ingredients to start preparing the macaroni gratin in the oven.
  • The recipe for pasta with cheese will begin by cooking the macaroni in salted water and a little oil.
  • For the béchamel sauce, melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and lightly toast.
  • Then, we will add the milk little by little until it is well combined and without lumps. I have chosen to make the macaroni and cheese and béchamel sauce, but if you prefer you can make another sauce to your liking.
  • Place the grated double cream cheese in the container that we will use to bake and gratin the macaroni.
  • Add the already cooked and drained macaroni, and add the béchamel sauce on top.
  • Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake the macaroni with béchamel until golden brown, at 180ºC.
