  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Monkfish in sauce with prawns step by step:

  1. The first thing will be to prepare the fish brother. To do this, we remove the heads of the prawns and place them next to the bones in a casserole with a little oil. Sauté a little with a couple of chopped garlic and, before the garlic browns, cover the thorns with water; add the bay leaf and salt. We let it cook for 20 minutes.
  2. Cut the monkfish into slices, now boneless, and season to taste.
  3. In another casserole, brown the monkfish on the outside with a good jet of hot oil. We take it out and reserve it.
  4. Sauté the cuttlefish, remove it and put the chopped onion to fry.
  5. Add the fried tomato and continue preparing the monkfish in sauce recipe.
  6. On one side of the casserole we put the bread and cook it together with the sauce.
  7. Add the white wine and let it reduce for a few minutes. If you want, you can crush the sauce so that the sauce is thinner.
  8. Strain the fish broth, put a part of the broth in the casserole, reintroduce the cuttlefish and cook for about 10 minutes.
  9. Then, we put the monkfish and cook it for 8-10 minutes. If necessary, add more fish broth and taste for salt.
  10. Next, we place the prawns and a handful of chopped parsley on top, and turn off the heat. Cover and let rest.
  11. And the monkfish in sauce with prawn’s recipe will be ready. Prepare bread because the sauce is so delicious that no one will be able to resist dipping a little.
