Tofu recipe with spicy sauce

Ingredients to make Tofu with spicy sauce:

  • 4 pieces of tofu
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cornmeal

How to make Tofu with hot sauce:

1.Cut the tofu into cubes.

2.Have the minced ginger, garlic and spring onion prepared on a plate.

3.Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.

4.When it boils, add the tofu, let it boil again for a few minutes and remove from the heat.

5.Drain the tofu and reserve.

6.Dry the pan, heat the oil and sauté the ginger, garlic and spring onion.

7.Add the broth, soy sauce, hot pepper, tomato sauce, salt, sugar and bring to a boil.

8.Mix the cornmeal with a teaspoon of cold water and add to the sauce.

9.Put the tofu in the pan and mix it with the sauce, being careful not to break it.
