Ingredients to make marlin:

  • 1/2 kg of marlin (shredded)
  • 1 can of chipotle pepper (to taste)
  • 4 tomatoes (cooked)
  • water to taste
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 2 carrots (shredded)
  • 1/2 cabbage chopped into strips
  • bay leaves (optional)

How to make marlin:

  1. In a casserole, melt the butter, since it is completely melted, add the onion and cover the casserole, since the onion is cooked, add the cabbage as well as the onion, cover the casserole, then Add the carrot, since they have been steamed, add the marlin, all the ingredients must be incorporated, leave it like that for a few minutes.
  2. Blend the tomato and chipotle pepper and once they are blended, add the strained marlin, adding water to make the broth, finally add salt to taste and top with bay leaves to give it a special flavor.
  3. Note: If you want the marlin with a lot of broth, just add more water.
