Ingredients to make Mediterranean Spaghetti:
- 1 kilo of spaghetti
- 500 grams of fresh mushrooms
- 1 large can of peeled tomatoes
- 6 medium garlic cloves finely chopped
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt
- pepper to taste
How to make Mediterranean Spaghetti:
- Put the spaghetti to cook al dente, adding to the water, salt, olive oil and bay leaves.
- In a deep cauldron, heat the oil, add the garlic, sauté a little, add the chopped mushrooms, sauté them, add the chopped tomatoes (not too small), add, salt and freshly ground pepper to taste, mix, add the basil and the pasta well drained.
- Stir very well, let cook for about five minutes, turn off and serve
