Salmon is a freshwater fish with a very peculiar flavor and texture, which means that few people do not like to eat it. In this case, we encourage you to make this simple recipe for salmon marinated with soy, as a good option for a main dish. Although it is true that on this occasion we have used salmon fillets, you could perfectly use another type of fish to make this recipe such as tuna or white fish; or you can even do it with any type of meat such as roast chicken with soy marinade or baked ribs with honey and soy.
Ingredients to make Soy Marinated Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 150 milliliters of Soy
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 handful of dried thyme
- 3 units of Lemon
- 1 dessert spoon of garlic paste
- 1 jet of sesame oil
- 30 grams of fresh Cilantro (to decorate)
- 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
How to make Soy Marinated Salmon:
- To start making our marinated salmon recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
- Place the salmon fillets in a bowl and drizzle with the soy sauce. Also add a little garlic paste to taste, the juice of the lemons and the black pepper. Marinate the fish for about an hour in the fridge or refrigerator.
- Place soy salmon fillets in a baking dish and bathe each with enough of the juices from the marinade. Cover with the bay leaves and thyme as shown in the photo and cook them in the oven at 150ºC for approximately 20-25 minutes, checking that they are not dry.
- Serve the salmon bathed in the marinade juice. An original way of presenting this dish of salmon marinated in soy sauce is on a bed of mashed potatoes.
