Fajita Base Pizza Recipe

I don’t quite know what to call this recipe because it is not a traditional pizza using a corn tortilla as a base. What I am very clear about is that this pizza with fajita tortillas is very good and also serves as a recipe for use. Although it sounds strange, sometimes there are leftover fries (and may those who love potatoes forgive me, but there are people who have leftovers) and you don’t really know what to do with them because they are not very good when reheated. Well, this recipe for pizza with fajita base that I share is the solution! We will have it ready in little more than 15 minutes and it will help us to take advantage of the leftover food while we make a very tasty dinner (although very caloric, everything must be admitted!) to share with family or friends.

Ingredients to make Fajita-based Pizza:

  • 1 large corn tortilla (30 centimeters in diameter) or bread for durum
  • 70 grams of strip fries
  • 75 grams of bacon
  • 8 slices of cheese to melt
  • 1 handful of grated cheese
  • 1 dash of deluxe sauce

How to make Fajita-Based Pizza:

  1. We start by covering the oven tray with aluminum foil or baking paper. On top we place a corn tortilla or bread for durum and cover it with slices of cheesethat melt well.
  2. We spread the chips on top of the pizza with fajita tortillas, making sure they are well distributed.
  3. Tip:If you don’t have leftover chips, you can peel, cut into strips and fry a potato in olive oil.
  4. Cut the baconinto cubes or strips and spread them over the potatoes. Drizzle the fajita-crust pizza with a drizzle of deluxe sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Trick:You can change the sauce for the one you like.
  6. Place the fajita pizza in the preheated oven at 180 ºC and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until we see that the cheese has melted and the edges of the tortilla turn golden.
  7. We serve the fajita-based pizzaimmediately and enjoy. You can accompany it with a salad and you will have a complete dinner
