Ingredients to make Lemon Hake:
- 3 oil tablespoons
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1 pinch of coloring
- 2 eggs
- 1 lemon
- 600 grams of hake
- 5 stock cube
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Lemon Hake:
- The fish, cut rather into large pieces, is placed in a clay pot.
- Add a grated onion, coloring, pepper, parsley, chopped garlic, oil, salt and half a stock cube.
- Cover with water and cook over low heat.
- Once the sauce is cooked and reduced, beat the eggs a little with a little salt.
- Lemon juice is added to these eggs.
- Pour it over the fish and when it starts to boil, cover the pan and remove from the heat.
- Since the clay conserves heat, the eggs have just curdled outside the fire.
- This dish can also be made with monkfish or another fish that does not have many bones.
