Hake is one of the most popular and appreciated fish, both by adults and children. For this reason, in this recipe I want to teach you how to cook it in a different way, gratin with aioli. Write down the ingredients and prepare this delicious hake gratin.
Ingredients to make Gratin Hake:
- 3 units of hake loins
- 3 units of potatoes
- 1 unit of onion
- 3 units of Peppers (one of each color)
- 4 garlic cloves
How to make Gratin Hake:
- The first thing to do is peel and washes the potatoes. Cut them into thick slices and fry them over low heat so that they cook in the oil. Once ready, we remove them, put them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil and place them in the baking dish.
- Cut the onion in Juliana, that is, into thin strips, and fry it with a little oil. We add salt so that it poaches before.
- Once the onion is poached, drain it well and place it on the potatoes. Now let’s go for the peppers to continue with the hake gratin garnish.
- We wash the three types of peppers well, dry them and also cut them into thin strips. Look at the photograph to do it in the same way.
- With the same oil that we use to poach the onion, we fry the peppers. When they are well fried, we add them to the source where we have the onion and the potatoes.
- Now it is the turn of the hack. Salt the fish fillets, place them on the mattress of potatoes, onion and peppers, add a little oil on top and bake them for 8 minutes at 180ºC.
- Meanwhile, heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and fry the sliced garlic cloves. After 8 minutes, add the fried garlic and bake the hake again for 2 more minutes. If the loins are very thick you will have to leave them for another two minutes.
- After the time has elapsed, we put the grill at 200ºC, cover the hake with the aioli sauce and bake them until they are gratin. This is a different way of grilling hake, as well as delicious.
