Grilled haddock with tartar sauce

Ingredients to make Grilled haddock with tartar sauce:

  • 800 g of haddock in fillets.
  • 1 and a half kilo of potatoes.
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise (lightened with a natural yogurt).
  • 100 g of pickled cucumbers.
  • 20 g of capers in vinegar.
  • 3 lemons.
  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • salted
  • pepper to taste

How to make Grilled Haddock with Tartar Sauce:

  1. Heat a griddle, oil and place the haddock slices on the griddle.
  2. Cook over low heat on both sides sprinkling with lemon a few minutes before finishing cooking.
  3. Peel the potatoes and cut into squares as for salad.
  4. Boil to the point of cooking.
  5. Remove from heat, drain in a colander, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
  6. They can be served both hot and cold.
  7. For the tartar sauce: Chop the cucumbers with a knife, as fine as possible.
  8. Mix with the mayonnaise, the chopped hard-boiled egg, the capers, and the finely chopped parsley.
  9. We serve the haddock fillets on a plate with a garnish of potatoes and a separate container with tartar sauce.
