Ingredients to make Grilled haddock with tartar sauce:
- 800 g of haddock in fillets.
- 1 and a half kilo of potatoes.
- 1 cup of mayonnaise (lightened with a natural yogurt).
- 100 g of pickled cucumbers.
- 20 g of capers in vinegar.
- 3 lemons.
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- salted
- pepper to taste
How to make Grilled Haddock with Tartar Sauce:
- Heat a griddle, oil and place the haddock slices on the griddle.
- Cook over low heat on both sides sprinkling with lemon a few minutes before finishing cooking.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into squares as for salad.
- Boil to the point of cooking.
- Remove from heat, drain in a colander, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
- They can be served both hot and cold.
- For the tartar sauce: Chop the cucumbers with a knife, as fine as possible.
- Mix with the mayonnaise, the chopped hard-boiled egg, the capers, and the finely chopped parsley.
- We serve the haddock fillets on a plate with a garnish of potatoes and a separate container with tartar sauce.
