- 4 units of red or green bell peppers
- 2 cups of white rice
- 500 grams of ground beef
- 3 units of tomatoes
- 2 units of white onion
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 120 grams of mozzarella cheese
How to make Peppers Stuffed with Meat and Rice:
- The first step to make this stuffed peppers recipe is to prepare the ingredients. You can prepare it with peppers or Italian zucchini.
- Bring a frying pan over medium heat with a little olive oil; add the diced tomatoes with the white onion to make a sauce.
- Once we obtain the sauce, add the ground meat with a little salt, pepper and garlic paste to taste. Let fry for a few minutes.
- Add thyme and oregano to the stuffing of the peppers and continue cooking.
- Add the cooked rice to the bread and mix very well until the ingredients of the recipe are integrated. Turn off the heat once the ingredients are well integrated.
- Now we are going to clean the peppers or pumpkins, depending on the product you use.
- To do this, we are going to cut and remove the seeds or veins that they contain inside.
- We are going to take the pumpkins or peppers to a previously greased refractory.
- Add the meat filling with rice.
- Add the mozzarella cheese on top of each of the zucchini or stuffed peppers and if you want a bit of milk or cream.
- Take the refractory to the oven at about 180ºC for approximately 20-25 minutes or until you see that the cheese has melted.
- Remove the preparation from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
